How we work

STEP 1

Tell us about your text

We customise your edits and your quotes - As such, we ask that email inquires include the following info:

 

  • Length: approximate word count

  • Due date: deadline

  • Level of English: determined by a writing sample you send

  • Desired editing: details like British vs. American English, formatting, general editing, etc.

 

STEP 2

Quote generation

We rely on a pricing formula that takes into account four main criteria: length; due date; level of English; and desired editing.

 

This not only helps assure customer satisfaction while ensuring the most accurate and fair prices for our clients.

 

Since EditingNL is a registered member of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK# 55556019), we promise our clients professional invoices and receipts with every job. We request payment via bank transfer in Euros.

 

STEP 3

Editing commences

Once the invoice and terms of payments are agreed, the client submits the text for editing via email. 

 

For new clients, editing commences when have the invoice is paid as a deposit.

 

We guarantee that all jobs will be delivered on or before the agreed upon deadline.

 

STEP 4

Finalisation

We work with track changes in Word formats, so clients need to spend some time reviewing and incorporating suggested edits. 

 

Clients can expect to receive a short cover letter accopanying their edits that described the work completed, further recommendations, and any other pertient details.

 

Final payment is kindly requested within 14 days of receipt of the edited text.
